This Minneapolis native known as DJ Cor E has been rocking the Minneapolis club and underground scene since before he could legally have a drink.Starting out as a bedroom DJ for many years spinning nothing but breaks and inspired by DJs like Icey, James Zabiela, Baby Anne, Crystal Method, Adam Freeland and Plump DJs,Cor E quickly found that break beats and electro are not at the top of the list for favorite genres of music in Mpls. To get his foot into the scene, Cor E started out at a Minneapolis Hiphop club paving the way for this young DJ to soon be known and respected by his fellow djs and clubgoers alike.One HipHop club turned into another and when a few good friends gave Cor E the opportunity to play his first underground party in the Minneapolis scene, the rest was history.With the majority of electronic music in Minneapolis being house, DJ Cor E brought a different flavor to the scene that is described as very dirty and grimy and somewhat dark with overwhelming energy. Tribal and Prog have caught Cor E's interest recently and he has put that interest towards his production work.With his innate ability to read the crowd to perfection, combined with his one of a kind style of technical mixing he can provide what ever genre necessary. you will not be disappointed when he steps to the decks. When he is tearing up the wheels you never know what sound is right around the corner, with the element of surprise being his niche he will keep you moving and wondering what?s next. His obvious love for the music infects the crowd with such high energy no one can resist the temptation to get on the floor and join the party.Without EDM, DJ Cor E is a fish out of water, but you can find him playing at multiple venues from Minneapolis to Miami, spinning not only Prog, Tribal and Breaks but also bringing an open format to some shows with everything from Rock to HipHop.DJ Cor E was also voted Top Twin Cities Club DJ 2005 and 2006 by local clubgoers and members of Twincitiesnightclubs.com. Cor E has also found an addiction to the production side of music recently, so keep your ears open for upcoming releases!!! Until then...
