The sardonically irreverent dibig smigig, I said more Ham!

About Me

About me: I am currently studying Islamic and Middle Eastern studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Hopefully going to the American University at Cairo next year. After several years of the corporate grind being chained to my desk. I decided to follow my true passion, which was for Middle Eastern Comparative Politics and Studies. Although Israel is a beautiful country, it has it's problems as well. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to travel to the Palestinian Territories several times in the hopes to understand another complicated aspect of the conflict. After graduate school I hope to work for the Department of State or possibly an international NGO. The Middle East is a place that is largely misunderstood and I hope to travel to Iran and Syria next year to get my own perspective on the two "axes of evil".Like most people, I love to travel and since being in Israel I have been to Jordan and this spring will be going to Turkey, Egypt, Qatar and Thailand for two weeks!I am a very uncomplicated person and I like to do anything that is active. I have a good sense of humor, and prefer to be around normal people who are not crazy, overly emotional, or religous zealots.I am always up for meeting new people, so drop me a line sometime!

I'd like to meet:

I am a pretty easy going down to earth guy. Although independent minded, I also like to be around my good friends as well. I am very socialabe (but not a sociopath) and always seem to be the one doing damage control during awkward social situations (i.e. parties and mixers). I also have a very ecclectic taste in movies and you will find this out when you get to know me!
