About Me

[Please check out Deb's blog and leave a comment at dkw16.wordpress.com . - Joel] Okay, truthfully I don't really like to talk about me (with the exception of when I am processing something). In part I don't focus conversation on myself because I'm convinced that we are the last person who really understands who we are, what makes us tick, what touches our hearts, what we are passionate about and how we view the world around us. We know our experiences and respond to the things that touch our heart, but others see how those experiences and passions have impacted and changed us with greater accuracy. It's hard to honestly, objectively, step outside of yourself and the filters you have to really see who you are. I've posted a few of quiz results that seem to fit who I am. I am a writer and a major verbal processor and sometimes "learn" what I think by hearing myself say it or by reading something I've written and recognizing the truth of it.
