How I made my profile:
I used Dave & Jay's amazing myspace profile editor . Perché Sixpm?Una giornalistica domanda che prevede una semplice risposta...le 6 di pomeriggio è stata l'ora in cui un giorno di marzo del 2004 5 ragazzi si sono incontrati ed hanno dato vita a quella che ora è una realtà. Le 6 di pomeriggio sono ormai un punto di riferimento dove ognuno di noi avendo sulle spalle la fatica del lavoro o dello studio continua a costruire qualcos'altro, qualcosa di concreto qualcosa che sa di sogno...I “senatori” del gruppo Alessandro, Valerio e Fabio reduci dalle esperienze con varie formazioni, incontrano Stefano ed Andrea e continuano il progetto già cominciato nel 2002 “The Ignition” cover band degli OASIS. Nasce quindi l'esigenza di cominciare a dire qualcosa di più, di cantare parole che venissero dal profondo, la voglia di lasciare un segno personale e distintivo. Ed ecco che in svariati giorni alle 6 di pomeriggio nasce il repertorio dei Sixpm di canzoni inedite, e il tutto viene impreziosito dall'incisione del singolo tra maggio e giugno 2008. I due brani “I WANT TO LIVE YOU” e “A BETTER FLIGHT” sono prodotti con la collaborazione di ALESSANDRO CANINI, attuale produttore dei TIROMANCINO e di molti altri artisti.Nel dicembre 2008 "A BETTER FLIGHT" è contenuta in una compilation che verrà distribuita in Inghilterra e in Irlanda con l'etichetta BOOTLEG RECORDS. Nel febbraio 2009 i Sixpm sbarcano su itunes!!!!Tutto il resto sarà soggetto al futuro, noi al momento siamo contentissimi di esserci e di condividere quello che abbiamo realizzato con voi!-------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ -----------------------Why Sixpm?A simple answer for a journalistic question...6pm of a march day 2004 in which 5 boys met and make of their passions a reality.6pm are a landmark when we after a day full of job and studies begin to build a new project, a new concrete project, a new dreamy project...The band's "founders" Alessandro,Valerio and Fabio after many exeperiences, meet Stefano and Andrea and go on with the project begun since 2002 called "The Ignition" cover band OASIS. Then "The Ignition" need to feel to play original songs, to sing lyrics from the inside, the wish to leave a personal and distinctive sign. So in many days at 6pma born a new good tracks list, and beetween may and june 2008 it's recording a single. Two songs "I WANT TO LIVE YOU" and " A BETTER FLIGHT" are recorder with ALESSANDRO CANINI, now "TIROMANCINO"'s producer and of many italian artist.In december 2008 the track "A BETTER FLIGHT" is contained in a compilation wich will be spread in UK in collaboration with BOOTLEG RECORDS Label. In february 2009 Sixpm are on Itunes!!! All will be in the future's hands, now we are very happy to be part of this beautiful reality and to share our music with you!
