Meïan est un trio electro trip-hop né de la rencontre entre Gaël et
Anaïs en juillet 2006. Leur collaboration et le mélange de leurs influences
se rejoignent dans une démarche novatrice et unique qui
donna naissance au premier album « welcome to the world ». Plus
tard Stefan rejoint le groupe en novembre dans l’idée de construire
la partie live de Meïan. En janvier 2007 le groupe joue son premier
concert à l’Usine à gaz de Nyon (Suisse) et a depuis accumulé un certain
CV live ainsi que quelques passages radios, nationales et internationales.
Après avoir joué dans de nombreuses parties de la Suisse
et la France durant l’année 2007, le groupe a acquis une précieuse
expérience de la scène. En contrepartie des concerts, le groupe travaille
activement sur le deuxième album dont plusieurs morceaux
font déjà partie du set live. Meïan garantit une performance professionnelle
ainsi qu’une passionnante et mémorable soirée pour
le public.

Meian is a three-piece electro trip-hop band that was spawned
through the meeting of Anais and Gael in July of 2006. Their
collaboration and mixing of influences ended in an innovative and
unique debut album by the name of “Welcome to the worldâ€. Stefan
later joined the band in November of the same year with idea
of building a live show. January of 2007 the band played their first
live concert, L’Usine a gaz in Nyon (CH), and have accumulated a
healthy live CV as well as air time on national and international radio
stations. After playing in many parts of Switzerland and France
throughout 2007 the group has gained valuable stage experience,
and actually work on their second album. Meian guarantees a highly
professional standard of performance and an exciting and memorable
night out for the audience.
