About Me
Hi. My name is Troy Warren, Jr. (Troyboy). I've been producing music for about 20 years and have had the privilege of working with some really cool and really talented people. Most of those on my top friends list are my clients. You can go to their sites and hear some of my work. Mind you, not everything you hear from them is my work. I produce all styles, but most of my work has been in Christian music, and in hip-hop. To some, that may seem strange, but to me, it's all in a day's work. My goal is to provide you with a product which will enable you to accomplish your goals. Those goals may include radio airplay, record deals, sales of CD's, getting on Itunes, you name it. I have a lot of experience in all of those areas. One thing I have learned is that no matter what the pricetag is on your project, if it doesn't help you accomplish your goals, then you paid too much. I plan on writing some intense blogs pretty soon with a lot of my ideas and thoughts to help you, the artist, succeed.More thoughts on my top friends:1. Absolute Sound is my recording studio. I differentiate it from my production business because it actually is an entirely different business. If you check out Absolute Sound, you will hear a lot of my work, obviously. I've recently added another producer, Ryan Webster. You will soon hear some of his work on the site as well.2. Jimmy Needham. This guy was referred to me as a demo client. We did a great demo together, and then he decided to go ahead and complete an album. He put it on myspace, started doing shows, and in a matter of months was offerred a record deal. I became Jimmy's manager, and now he's very big in Christian music. Check out his stuff. Very, very amazing.3. Josef Gordon. Joey actually co-wrote Jimmy's first single which made it up to #2 and stayed there for 12 weeks straight. It was the #11 most popular christian song of 2006. Wow. Josef just finished a 3 song demo, and we are shopping for investors. Look for something amazing to happen with Josef. Check out his site. He is about to explode.4. Shiela Harrison. Yes, that is how she spells it. We are just launching Shiela's project. You can hear her sing on the one song she has on her site. Tremendous voice.5. Cherbeaux. My amazing and talented wife. She sings backup on Jimmy's album, and on his newest single. Dearly Loved. Gentlemen, she's taken.6. Running Home. This is more of a folk project. They have achieved huge success on Indie radio. If you think it can't be done, check these hard working ladies out. They are going like gangbusters with a smooth lyrical style. Very nice.7. Godwon. This guy is a beast among rappers. Incredible talent. I've been contacted by Def Jam and Universal asking about Godwon. He's running amuck out there. Somebody is gonna sign him because he's just that good.Ok.
