Overweight, Smooth Lee, Mark Foggo (UK/NL) confirm!
Kloemprock day 1 has its final line-up confirmed! We'll start out with Eppegem skapunkband Overweight, playing catchy skapunk songs (Mad Caddies) and TV theme covers.
Later on we bring you Smooth Lee, a band that can best be compared with Rancid and Operation Ivy. Great ska, combined with true punkrock.
We'll end the night with live sensation Mark Foggo and his skasters. For years Foggo is a household name in the ska scene and with tons of shows played so far, he's a guarantee for a fun night of ska! Bring your dancing shoes! Mark Foggo myspace

The Casualties (USA) confirm!
Hard core punk rock, that can only be made in NYC.
There is at least one punk band that could care less about the radio. And at a time when punk has steered either into sugary pop or full on Nu metal territory, there is at least one band flying the flag for traditional street music. That band is… The Casualties!
These hardcorepunks have confirmed for Kloemprock 2008. These mohawk heroes will represent the New York hardcore scene on 15th november in Belgium. Started out in the early nineties, they finaly get the respect they deserve all over the world! Check out their videos below!

Funeral Dress (B) confirm!
Hello from the underground!
1985 is the year this punk-outfit saw the light of day. Known for the classics: 'Sex, Drugs and Rock’n Roll, 'the pogo never stops', 'I’m in love with OI', 'Party On' and ‘death and Glory’ Funeral Dress is a still alive and kicking. They toured the USA several times and now these punks are ready to rock Bunsbeek Town!

Retired Punx (B) confirm!
30 years ago, people crossed the streets with colored hair and listened to (in mainstream opinion) music from hell. To relive this fantastic period in time and to keep themselves young, 4 "young ones" play the well known punkrock songs from back then (sex pistols/ramones/shame69/kids/dead kennedies) and today (green day/pennyswise/...) - This band will guarantee a kick-ass after party.

Capital Scum (B) confirm!
Hardcore, make some fucking noise!
Capital Scum is a part of the Hageland Hardcore scene for years. Their contributions to the punk compilation 'Alle 24 goed' and their 'Clutch The Flag' 7" are legendary. Capital Scum started in 1983 but it all ended a few years later. After an absence of fourteen years they came back together in 2002 in the classic line-up. During the following years they had their part of line-up changes but Pies and Larrie are still the driving forces behind this 80'ies hardcore punk band. Come and see them rock on the Kloemprock stage.

The Usual Suspects (B) confirm!
Hasta La Vista, Commandante!
Be ready for some ska-dub-reggea-punk because The Usual Suspects are playing this year’s edition of Kloemprock. The Usual Suspects, coming from the Leuven squat scene, toured and played a vast number of gigs across Europe and the Uk. Their first full-length: Hasta La Vista, Commandante! represents the voice of the latest generation of Belgium squatters and punks. Now they are hoping to meet you in front of the Kloemprock stage. Bring on your dancing shoes.

Our HiStoRy
After 4 years of silence, the punk and hardcore scene returns to Glabbeek under the name of "Kloemprock". For years, mid august was the time and Bunsbeek was the place to be for eveyone who had a special place in their hearts for punk, punkrock, oi and hardcore. Over the years we had lots of national and international bands, of which the top performers were probably Funeral Dress, The Kids, The Business, UK Subs, Bad Manners, Fabulous Disaster and Randy. Bands like Scarrots and Oversize, originaly from Bunsbeek, grew up with this festival, which came to an end in 2004, because of financial reasons. 2008, we decided to return with a clubshow in NOVEMBER in PC Bunsbeek. Which bands will play? Keep checking back... We will keep you posted and promise a kick-ass show for fair prices!
