Funky Hotel

Funky Hotel are a fresh breed of musicians playing a contemporary mix of blues, soul and old skool funk with modern jazz and groove-driven rock, more easily reffered to as "junk funk", a term invented by the band to classify the origninality of the music. Funky Hotel broke onto the music scene in 2004 with founding members Kevin(drums/vocals) and Damiain (guitar/vocals). Sean (bass) and Ray(keys/organ) complete the FH line-up, adding to the collective wealth of experience. The Hotel have developed a highly acclaimed live act through intensive rehearsing and finely-polished shows in the UK, having recently two sold out performances at the Cafe Parisien in Portsmouth. Funky Hotel are returning from a long break, and aim to take their fresh style of music to the masses and intend to go into the studio early 2007. Watch this space!!!
