The unDEAD creature woke up from the coma in 2001, spawned in northern Italy, fueled by an high octane mixture of deathmetal and hardcore.
The first act of unDEAD is the 3 tracks ep unSANE.unREAL.unDEAD produced, recorded and mixed at Fear Studio (Ephel Duath, Sisthema, Folder, Browbeat, Electrocution, Entity, Baratro, Crackdown, Daniele Liverani, Empty Tremor) by Gabriele Ravaglia and Riccardo Pasini. unSANE.unREAL.unDEAD has been immediately followed by an intense touring through Italy supporting bands like Children of Bodom, Primal Fear, All Out War, Necrodeath, Earth Crisis, Crackdown just to name some. In April 2003 GoreGorecords / Code666 (Konkhra, Ephel Duath, Unmoored, Aghora, Aborym, Handful of Hate) released the three unDEAD tracks as the 3-way split Blood Beyond The Sand, which gained a great response by magazines and webzines and it was supported live by the Goregorefest Tour and in December 2004 supporting German cult blackmetal band Mystic Circle in their Italian tour.
In December 2005 unDEAD were honoured to record a tribute song for the unforgottable PanterA's Dimebag Darrell. Their necksnapping version of 'Slaughtered' off 'Far Beyond Driven' album was featured in an Italian Dimebag tribute, released by Mosh Pit Culture in collaboration with Noize Italia. unDEAD are currently busy in writing new material for the first full lenght album that will be recorded in Autumn 2006. Labels, get in touch !!
