REVIEW FROM SURAFCE UNSIGNED BANDS ROUND ONE - FEB 09 Fixation The lead singer was strutting about the stage like some majestic cockerel, his body hung limp, but he moved with an angry contortion that bespoke of some hidden madness. The band had real devotion and no fault could be picked, they simply put everything into it and didn’t care what they got back in return. I would like to say that I thought of the Sex Pistols and maybe even Oasis, but I’m not just talking about the music, I’d like to say that, but who is ever ready to hear those words… certainly not me. A measure of punk taken like a shot of the hardest liquor, dirty, loud and pretty f**king great, Fixation is more than just a clever name.Fixation started back in 2001 - 4 kids in a garage making a noise.
