In Our Hands Rescue saves the lives of hundreds of sheltered and street animals each year.
We rescue unwanted animals from the euthanasia lists at city shelters as well as backyards, alley ways, and owner dumps and give them a second chance at life through our adoption efforts.
We take in all animals, the sick, the healthy, hard to place, difficult cases, abused, injured, the elderly,moms and babies.
BEFORE each rescued animal goes to it's new furrrrever home, they are spayed/neutered, ALL shots, combo tested,dewormed, frontlined (treatment to prevent fleas), and microchipped.
Also we sometimes have to treat ear, eye and upper respiratory infections, grooming, behavioral issues, and any other medical issues that may occur. We also provide food, housing and transportation costs.
This quality of care is not cheap.
Only after all of this care can we then proceed to find homes for these animals through our in home adoptions, outside and inside events, computer advertising as well as fliers, and our spectacular reputation via word of mouth.
