About Me

I am a man. Thank you for entering my universe. I am pretty easy going. I try to roll with what and who comes my way A zen sort,I guess. I don't want to claim that though or I would be asscribing a label thus destroying the zen. lol..I am propelled by empathy for the most part. I have a habit of placing myself in the other person's shoes and then base my actions on that. That can be a anchor around my neck because...as we all know,people for the most part in this society are selfish,cold hearted egomaniacs that care only for their american dream fueled sense of self. I guess you could say I am very self involved but,it is more of a introspective and constant evolution of my "spirit" or whatever you consider it. I do though always strive to be humble.Live and let live.I have backpacked western Europe which showed me how different and cold our country is but,also helped me create what kind of person I want to be. My passion is creating music. One of my earliest memories is hitting a cassete recorder with pencils and singing/rapping about meeting a girl at a drive-in theater and when I looked at her,instead of her being 3-D,she was 4-D. I have no clue what I meant at the time,but if one were formulate a metaphoric similarity of my perception of reality,it would be just that. I am constantly finding a deeper meaning in all living and non-living things. I have always played the piano. I taught myself drums beginning at age 15,guitar at 16,bass at 16. I also have used a sampler and I've utilized a few computer programs to conjure musical worlds under my A.K.A.s-MENDELEVIUM and HARVESTING THE CRUSHING REAL. I started writing and recording songs at age 18. I have written all the words for my songs which were a lot of the times poems or observations to start with. I think I have recorded around 500 songs and covered every genre I can think of. I think playing other bands' songs is best left to the original songwriters to perform for the most part. I pride myself on writing original material. I gotta' keep it real even if the song is a disaster,at least I kept it 100% me. I am presently playing guitar and singing in ASVASTAS which is a constant evolution that fills my heart with sheer joy. I have never had the honor of playing with such positive, talented and wonderful human beings in all of my life. Destiny works that way though. Our lives are like a thousand rivers which converge at the synchronized moment of destiny. College starting with a writing degree to better suite our technological/cyberspace future.I love to write so I will make a career out of that.I also like to skate,bike,watch movies,read,do yoga,dance @ clubs if the vibe is right and meditate. There is nothing like not thinking for a serene amount of time. I mostly stay at home with my girlfriend,Becca and play with our 2 cats,Toto and Sam. Well,enough about me.
