Oh where oh where to begin...genres or bands...ahh hell I'm lazy so: ska, funk, punk, metal, raggae, bluegrass, jazz, industrial, 'classic rock', surf, folk, rap ... and most of all the eclectic type shyte that defies any category.
Movies:
wow this is even harder than music... let's just say my netflix list is like 200+. Any more I look for directors and producers but since I feel lazy I'll give this advice: anything tied in anyway to Danny Devito is a good time.
Television:
I haven't had cable in 3 years but The Simpson's, The Daily Show, and just about anything on History and Cartoon Network.The original BBC series The Office has now jumped to the top of my list of most orginally hysterical shows ever. Three words: Thank you Netflix... Good Cop, Baby Cop ..
Books:
Night - Elie Wiesel, anything by H.P. Lovecraft is a good time, The Dark Tower series - you should know, every thing by Ed Greenwood.
Heroes:
Thich Quang Duc, H.P. Lovecraft, Tom Green, Burt Suzanka, Alfred E. Newman, Ian MacKaye, Henry Rollins, anybody who has died for something that they truly believe in because I don't think I'll ever have that kind of conviction or faith.
