About Me

"I am Optimus!" That's my mindset. I live life like a leader and never a follower. Some philosophies of mine: 1). I always think street but seldom act street. This way no one knows your deal and they have no idea of what's in store for them. 2). A real gangsta never let's anyone know he's a gangsta! That's how you live long in this life. Jay-Z, Dead Presidents vol. 2 [This is my bond to my boys. I love this quote because it defines my friendship with my team perfectly] 3). You don't win silver, you lose gold. Self motivation. 4). Think about it and think about it and think about it some more. Once you're done, just do it. More self motivation.Ultimatly. I'm not flashy, I'm not out there all in the mix. You will find me chilling in the cut always with a watchful eye out. Don't get it twisted, chances are if you live in NYC you could have seen me around. If you've eaten at Cafeteria on a weekend or been to Eugenes or Strata or Deep or Glo or what ever night club is poppin for the night that's where you might know my face from. I work hard but party harder; it's the only way to feel alive.

My Interests

Entertainment. I love writing movie scripts, editing movies and videos, dabble in music [I'm no DJ by any means but in the privacy of my home, I'll play around with it but I'm terrible]. My dream is to write scripts but in the meantime I have this 9-5 that a dude needs to maintain.

I'd like to meet:

Music:

Hip Hop first and foremost. Reggae absolutly. I do like classical and rock music. I'm a sucka for 80's pop (80's baby). I've got everything from Linkin Park to Biggie Smalls to Aerosmith to PM Dawn. Trust me, I'm open to all types of good music.

Movies:

Star Wars, Godfather 2, Aliens, ...Truthfully I have over 120 movies, all of them I love. These are the ones I'd pull out on a date: Usual Suspects, Seven, Sleepy Hollow, HavPlenty, Thomas Crown Affair (Pierce Brosnon), Cruel Intentions, Six Degrees of Separation... Again too many to list.

Television:

Easy:Sorpranos, The Shield, 24, Lost, All Law & Orders, The Wire, Battlestar Galactica, and Family Guy.

Books:

Sun Tzu "The Art of War," Richard Wright "Black Boy," Ralph Ellison "The Invisible Man," William Shakespeare "Macbeth" and "Hamlet"

Heroes:

My mother, the strongest person I know.
