The positive and negative, and the balance between the two. That's life. And CTE strives to be a reflection of the statement above. Life isn't always great, and that practicality is expressed in the band name alone. But there's always aspects & gifts to appreciate, and those elements aren't neglected either. Our goal is to be the band that brings it all together and delivers something for everyone and for every mood. Currently still a studio project, CTE debuted themselves with their 3 song Handing Out Death demo in January of 08. Written by only 3 members of what was essentially designed to be a 6 piece outfit, the recording epitomizes the bands ability to hit from multiple lyrical angles. Anthemic, fist-clenching, declarations of self improvement mix with the hat-tilting, head-nodding, aggressive spitting that we all love. Musically, the band comes heavy with a mix of older hardcore mixed with a touch of metal speed, guitar solos, and even a bit of hip hop groove mixed in. NYHC fans can't sleep on this!
