I've been an education advisor to a group of NPA guerillas in the Southern Philippines,the pet American to Dollar Bar girls and the Armenian mafia,an unwitting stooge to the CIA, and a community education trainer for coca growers in Bolivia.During my travels I've learned to appreciate the local strange brews that define local cultures.I believe it is time for the Travel Channel to celebrate the Strange Brews that keep this world interesting.
