The Abundance

The abundance is a band with currently 6 members in it: Boris (trumpet), Jolien (Saxophone), Koen (vocals & guitar), Nathan (keyboard), Rein (drums) and Floris (bass), but the band shall extend, mwuahaha. It all started with Rein, Nathan and Koen. We jammed with an acoustic guitar, our VOICES and a jembee, at night in a park nearby, nothing special but alot of fun. We liked it so much that we decided to play electric. Rein played drum in his youth, Nathan could play on the keyboard and Koen had an electric guitar and liked to sing, so we started. We didn't have a bass player wich is very important, especially in reggae music, so two weeks later Flokke (Floris) started playing with us. He never played bass before but he learned it very quickly and since then he is a member of our group. We began to make other songs and we kept on jamming. We also performed on some barbecues of friends. We were happy about how things were going but we really wanted a bigger band with more different sounds, so boris, the brother of rein, joined the group. This was three weeks before our first real concert. We jammed alot in these three weeks and bojo (boris) was ready to perform with us. So that's what he did and it was a succes. Thanks for the audience! You were great. Later on Jolien (Jolle) joined de band and gave bojo some support, she's the 2nd horn player of our band, she plays saxophone.
