I have spent most of my life dealing with Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, clinical depression, asthma, and since I've gotten older, have added a host of new ailments to the list, the latest of which is pre-diabetes and high cholesterol.
Y'all know the Designing Women episode where Charlene talked about how she always wanted a soldier for her birthday? That's me, since I was 6. I always wanted to marry a soldier - and I did! He was a Navy cook in Desert Storm. Darryl and I met online, through True.com, in 2005. We talked via e-mail and Yahoo messenger for a week, then on the phone and online after that. We had our first date a month after we 'met' online, got engaged on my birthday, and got married March 17, 2006. If you're interested, ask me about all the signs God sent to let me know He was sending me Darryl - and how my great-uncle Johnny brought us together - after his death!
Although I've never had a loved one go missing, I have always felt deeply for the people who have. You'll see many on my friends list whose pages are dedicated to their missing loves.
Please take the time to go to their pages, look at the faces, and think if you've seen them. You'd want someone to do the same, if it was your son, daughter, mother, father, brother, sister, or friend who was missing. God bless you for checking them out.
I'll be adding more to this page as my brain allows, so check back soon.
