About Me

My name is Brian Carroll, and I'm with The Bri Carroll Band. I was born May 30Th,1977 in Pittsburgh PA. I have one brother two years younger than me, and his name is Mick. My brother is my best friend in the world, and an amazing guy. He served four years in the marine corp and also served over one year in Iraq. My mom still lives in Cannonsburg,PA and has always been there for me in every way, especially with music. My dad lives in McDonald, PA with his wife Gail, and is doing very well. Despite our ups and downs my dad is not only a great father father, but a great friend as well. My aunt bought my my first guitar on my sixth birthday, in 1983. It was a cheap little plastic thing called an "Emeny",but i chose that guitar over an electric typewriter because i knew that one day i would learn to play it someday. As years went by i learned from my uncle Jay who got me started on "Horse with no name" which is the first song i ever learned to play. He eventually taught me every Neil Young song there is, and then on to the Guess Who, The Beatles, and many more. He was the only teacher Ive ever had. He gave me the foundation to venture out on my own and learn the Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, and the more "jam" styles of oriented music. In doing so i encountered many great musicians and countless amazing people who influenced and inspired me to keep going and do better. My first "gig" so to speak was the talent show at my high school. From there Ive continued to play with many different people at private parties, coffee houses, festivals, and many bars through out and beyond the Pittsburgh area. My quest is one that will take me where i am meant to go, and wherever that may be, i will be playing music...

Cover song

We love music first off. We like to cover songs. We sell nothing. We give everything away. I'll never say we are the best at a cover, but will say we have fun. Let the test run."The Bri Carroll Band"....
