About Me

Well first and foremost, my name is Lena! I'm a 22 year old Gemini. I'm wild and crazy, but I can be a very serious and sensitive person too. I tend to be honest. Too honest sometimes. I'm never blunt, but I don't like to keep things in the dark. I'm a great girl friend to have. I'm great at offering advice, but for some reason, I have a difficult time following it. boo.
I currently live in Harlingen, attend school in Brownsville, and work in Mcallen. You following me?!
First, Harlingen. I've lived here since the early 90's. I moved down here from Wisconsin... talk about culture shock!! I'm half black and half white... so moving to Mexico was quite an experience. Now it's my home, and I actually enjoy living in the valley. :) yay!
Brownsville! My personal favorite...not. I'm finishing up my final year at The University of Texas at Brownsville. My plans are to finish my BA with a History major, Government minor, and come back later to amend my degree and attain my BA in social studies. Graduate school is a must. But I'll figure out what I want when I get there. My goal is to teach at the high school level.
Mcallen! I ♥ my job! I work at Abercrombie and Fitch, yes, that infamous clothing store that costs a bundle. But F it. It's good stuff :) I totally dig my coworkers. The coolest kids you'll meet.
I have a daughter who is going to turn 3 in November. She's the light of my life. Her name is Julianna Rae. I've been fortunate enough to have great friends, and a supportive family to help me through the struggles I attained after deciding to become a single teenage mother. It's difficult, but it's so worth it.

My Interests

Well...I love basketball. My favorite player is Chris Webber, so now I have to like the GS Warriors. They aren't doing so bad, so we'll see how this goes. :) I enjoy football and baseball. I've always been a Packer fan, and now, my favorite college team is Ohio State... because Manny told me so. Haha... as for Baseball, I like the Boston Red Sox. Shoot me. :D Anyway... besides sports, I love music, watching movies, and just spending time with my family and friends.

I'd like to meet:

I've already met him... but let me go ahead and elaborate a bit... :)

His name is Emmanuel Martinez, and he's my soul mate. He's endured so much, and he's such a good person. He's been working since he was young in the fields of Ohio, and I can't believe that I've been blessed to encounter such a hard working man.

Manny is such an attractive guy. He's tall, and has the most beautiful tan skin ever. He has this big, contagious smile, and the best kisses in the whole wide world. He has a gorgeous daughter, Meranda, and he's a great dad to her. He's so loving, and he isn't afraid to give that love to Julianna either.

I'm so grateful to have him in my life. I love you Handy Manny! I truly do. I miss you sweetheart, and I can't wait until you come back home to me! muah! ♥& not to mention... a lil someone, who's going to have a huge heart one day. :)
