It's hard to say. There are many people who do great things but are they great people? Not always. I deeply love the people in my life so I haven't given much thought to other people of the world. I would like to have gotten to know my mom's mom. She died when I was rather young so I didn't get to see the impact her presence had on my mother. I heard stories but it's not the same. I remember loving her very much and always feeling good when we got to see her. I would love to have my nephew, Eloy Maldonado, meet my kids. Eloy died 13 years ago so Diego, Amelia and Sofia will never be lucky enough to know their cousin who was so full of character and presence.
It's easiest to say what I do not listen to and that's country music and rap. I just don't enjoy it but all other types are in my CD collection.
I watch them all but some of my favorites are "The Royal Tenenbaums", "Rushmore, "Phantom of the Opera", "Shakespeare in Love", "Trainspotting". Okay, I do not watch many horror flicks. I think there is enough horror in our lives so I'm not going to add any more!
I don't get to watch much T.V. so I try to make the most of my time. I love Grey's Anatomy and pretty much anything on TLC.
I'd rather read than watch television and I really enjoy the Harry Potter books. A great way to escape and share stories with Diego. The Little Critter series by Mercer Mayer are fun to read to the kids! I got to reread Great Expectations as well as Romeo and Juliet. So I do enjoy the classics as well as new material.
My mother for raising her five children as well as being a major part of raising her grandchildren. Diego, Amelia and Sofia love their grandma and I think that she's the greatest woman.
