I was born in Bossier City, LA and moved to Panama City, FL, when I was a few months old. I was a military brat. Father was in the USAF.
I spent plenty of time at the beach and springs. I loved to sit on the beach many evenings and watching the sunset. I enjoyed going to the springs with my friends and canoe for hours.
I enjoyed deep sea fishing. First fish was a 30lb grouper. What a day that was. Went straight from the bar at 4am out to the Gulf of Mexico to deep sea fish for the first time. This fishing trip came about, when I was at a friends house watching the Gator and Alabama game. I was pissed, because Gators lost and I was a hugh fan. We then played a card game called "Seven card no peek". The first 5 cards I flipped was a flush. The guy I beat was a deep sea fishing captain. He stated since he had never seen someone flipped a flush in the first five cards he would take me and my friend fishing the next day and so was the first of an exciting fishing trip. I enjoyed this very much that he took me out a few more times. We caught anything from snapper to blue runners. Then this become a love of my to be on the sea and fish. Several years later I caught my first BIG fish. "6ft and 165lbs-Lemon Shark". (See photo in my pics) This is experience you would have to experience on your own. The time, the patience, and your heart beating with the fight of one of the fierce monster of the ocean.
Now I'm a proud mother of two, which I moved from Florida to Michigan on another great adventure in my life. Michigan is very educational and exciting. I still have a lot to see.
So far favorite vacation spot has been Pigeon Forge, TN. I enjoy the mountains. Very peaceful and beautiful. Took my first skylift to part of the Smokey Mountains. I'm some what scared of heights, but this was a very rewarding experience. Very amazing to look down onto the town.Favorite Quote: "Life is like a deck of cards.
