Robert Heyaime

Robert Heyaime’s career although seems to be recently started has been on the making long before he started playing venues, he started by getting to know the music business and finding about the different styles and how to incorporate them in harmony.Born under the sign of Scorpio,in the Dominican Republic on October 26 1978,he was never a stranger to rhythm and beats,he began going to local parties which gathered a small group of people with the same interest and from it took knowledge as to what everyone enjoyed best.Based on his own experience and that of everyone around he started looking at music as a way to reach people,and not only for them but with them making it a experience in which connection through sounds is the best way of communication After he started playing publicly many performances were quick to follow;he was the first DJ’s to play for fashion shows to local fashion designers like Jorge Diep,Gianina Azar,and Robert Flores at the first Dominican fashion week.The latter was so impressed with Robert’s performance that he later collaborated with him for four more shows.Bars and Clubs were also requesting him and he played in the likes of Quintana Bar,Salon de Té,La Embajada,Komodos,El Batey,Groove Corp Farm,Chao Lounge,Ibiza Lounge,El Encuentro,Palafitos,La Espiral and Tonic.After reaching some recognition in the local surroundings he was request to play in the city of Miami in venues like:Womb.tv,Laundry Bar,90 Degrees, Amendment XXI,in New York in venues like Vault, Jungle and Stay.His music has also been featured at Rooftop Lounge (Miami Beach),Pulse Radio,809K.He is part of the Phantom-Deck Collective (base in Dominican Republic) and Massivegroove (base in New York City) he also have a weekly radio show name AVATAR at Massivegroove Internet Radio.With impressing achievements in a very succinct period of time, Robert Heyaime is certainly a talent to be recognized.
