Ask me and I'll tell you.... maybe! J/K! I'm an artistic individual who is just trying to enjoy life. Born in Dallas, TX but raised in San Antonio, TX since I was two year old. I'm a nice mix cocktail of Caribbean Latino (Cuban-spanish,taino indian,african, and cantonese... yes chinese Lol.) and American (native,black,and white). As far as performing I've been very blessed and fortunate enough to do somethings in my life that I'm very proud of and can look back on life when I'm old and say I got a chance to do some amazing things with the talent god blessed me with. Most recent performance I did was at the 2006 Freestyle Explotion in Phoenix, AZ as one of the backup dancers for the world famous group Afrika Bambatta for their classic dance hit "Planet Rock". Also danced for a group called "Stigma" with Master Mixing Mando, who had a latin dance hit called "Asi" which appeared on the cd "Bailando USA 99" and we appeared on Telemundo's dance show "Caliente". I also performed with Tejano artist Stefani Montiel as a dancer with Billy Angelini (Visible Sounds) and Lee Rios(Semaneya) and appeared on "Desperta America" and Tejano Music Awards.My friend Romeo Navarrow throws the biggest street dance competition in Texas called B-Boy City and I was a judge at two differnet years there. Been cutting down on shows for now because I'm trying to get school out the way and then I'll hit it hard again after I finish. I'm very humble because one minute I'm on stage dancing in big concerts, riding in limousines going to VIP afterparty as one of the artist, beautiful women tryin' to hook up with me(for the wrong reasons) and then the next day I'm back home ridin' da bus with people laughing at me because I'm ridin' the bus while they had no clue as to what happened the nights before. It's pretty funny but also a reality check that it can all be gone tommorrow. I like it because it keeps me grounded as a person. I'm currently in 2 dance groups; Camelot Bass Boys(Arturo & Celio) and Visible Sounds( Voodoo Child, Karma & others) but also do freelance dance gigs also. Enough with me cuz I don't want to sound like I'm braging cuz I'm not ,but just sharing some lucky life experiences I've had and hopefully it will inspire some of you out there to do what you love or try to make the most out of life. Just to give you an idea of one of the dance styles I dance, below is an underground dance clip of some NY House Dancers. Without getting into a long history lesson, house dancing is a street/club dance style that can be best described visually as having combined footwork from dance styles and movements like jam skate/ice skating (without the skates of course) salsa, tap, jazz, samba and african with spins from classical dance forms and some floor/acrobatics moves from capoiera ( and some also add b-boying aka breakdancing for those of you that are street dance illiterate) and modern dance. Although there're fundamental house dance moves, every dancer has (or should have) their own style. Some add more salsa ,or capoiera into thier style, others might put more floor moves and spin into their style..It varies from each dancer.
