I am a professional climber and co founder of Girls Education International (GEI) www.girlsed.org . GEI is a small non profit aiming at bringing education to women and girls in under served areas throughout the world. We are currently working on projects in Pakistan, Liberia and Nepal.Love for adventure and exploration have been the driving force behind my climbing accomplishments. I enjoys all types of climbing, finding myself high on giant rock walls and frozen waterfalls throughout the world. I have been climbing in the U.S. as well as parts of Canada, Baja, Great Britain, South America, North Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Asia over the past sixteen years and I don't plan to ease up on my globe-trotting any time soon, with plans to climb in the Czech Republic, New Zealand, and Patagonia in the near future. While continually raising the bar for my personal performance and for women’s climbing in general, I envision a broader view for my role in the sport in the years ahead, hoping to do more work with people in need around the world and create opportunities to “give back, help and inspire.â€
