..The Devil's Cuntry Originally formed with two members of former local psycho-billy band, Hellbound Saints. Tanner, their drummer, had a few songs on guitar he and the Saints former bassist, Angela, had been fuckin' around with her on violin. Once that band called it quits, there was no reason not to keep fuckin' around with it n' call it Devil's Cuntry. Glen, who they knew from booking and promoting the Saints @ the former Steamers cafe, was originally asked to draw up some art work for their website and before ya knew it, mother fucker was signed on for upright bass. Even brought his room mate Scott (Chugglet) along with him to play drums and the band seemed ready to play some shows. But only 2 gigs into it, on a clear Sunday morning, our drummer committed suicide rite outside a church.
Somehow, we managed to train a new drummer in just one fuckin week, just in time for our next gig, that would windup being the late drummers wake.
With Brandon (Banini) now on drums and Sean on jaw harp, we then obtained Moses on mandolin, rite after putting out our first recording with no fucking drums, jaw harp, or mandolin. Gawdammit...
Moses moved on outa state to learn how to build guitars, Banini moved to New Hampshire to build brutal fucking metal, The final incarnation wound up with Joe White on mandolin, a friend from an ol' band, Die Panda Die, just a scratchin' at a washboard with his girl Julia, on banjo n singing saw, the 3 original members, and Cherub, at the all ages shows, since his bitch ass was too fuckin' young to get into a bar!
We weren't around all that long but still went through alota fuckin' shyet. Alota members, vehicles and gear, and a hell of a lota booze.
Thanx to all the badass fuckin' bands we've shared stage with and venues who've had us. To all who've helped with rides, merch, promo and all you crazy fuckin' bastards at the shows, y'all were the sheyit...Angela and Glen have a hew project that incorporates all sorts of different sounds, instruments, and genres called the delphiQuorum that is already booking and will be coming out with recordings shortly.
