About Me

UNITED COLORS OF HOUSE Podcast
*********************************************
- From Cleaning to DJ'ing -
Starting off his working career in 2000. Oz took up a part-time job by Cleaning at his own School. After a year of cleaning Classrooms, Toilets and Changing Rooms, he was ready to make a break into the media scene. Oz learnt his trade at Stoke Mandeville Radio before getting kicked off for disagreements with the Management. This didn't matter as he found more work Presenting, Producing and Tech Operating at FM103 Horizon, Flame FM, Mix96, CRMK 89.8 FM and AVR FM.
Along side work in the Studio, Oz started DJ'ing at Outdoor Events, Bars and Clubs with the Radio Stations. Playing a blend of Disco/Soulful/Funky House, and once again a new love grabbed him – DJ'ing.
During 2005, while Presenting at CRMK 89.8 FM. He meet House DJ Dean Facer. Dean presented UNITED COLORS OF HOUSE, a show dedicated to all genres of House music. Oz decided to take his DJ'ing further, by joining Dean on the show as a Co-Presenter and Co-Mixer.
During late 2007, Oz travelled out to Tallin, Estonia with Dean to Club Hollywood for their 'Ibiza Night'. After this gig Dean decided to take a sabbatical, and left the running of UNITED COLORS OF HOUSE to Oz.
Carrying on with the hugely popular UNITED COLORS OF HOUSE Radio Show, Club Night and of course the DJ'ing. This has lead Oz to becoming more well known on the ‘House Music’ scene. He's already had thanks from the likes of Oscar P (Open Bar Music), Davidson Ospina (Ospina Digital), Jon Silva (Pesto), Moussa Clarke (Oven Ready) and Phunk Investigation (Absolutely) to name a few, for the support of their tracks.
2007, saw Oz link up with old School friend ‘Quash’, to start Producing & Remixing tracks with great success. Their work so far are as follows below....
*Anything But Monday – Bump (Oz & Quash Remix) - (Universal)
*DJ HeavyGrinder – Chains of Love (Oz & Quash Remix) - (Rhythm Club)
*Reza – Cyclops (Oz & Quash Remix) - (House Sound of LA)
*Mikey Gallagher – Roulette (Oz & Quash Remix) - (House Sound of LA)
