Todd’s diversity as a songwriter, producer, and vocalist has put him on the "fast track" to recognition on Nashville’s music scene. After graduating from college, Taylor became a successful studio musician and vocalist in Los Angeles working with some of the world’s finest musicians and multi-platinum recording artists ranging from Cher to Sheryl Crow. As a member of Cher’s band, Taylor performed with the legendary artist on the MTV Music Awards and other high profile television appearances. Also while in L.A., Todd found success rather quickly as a songwriter and composer having music appear in films, television shows and various artists' projects ranging from Gregg Allman and friends to his own project with legendary guitarist Buzzy Feiten.From Paramount Pictures to network television, Taylor’s songs have been featured in such programs as Melrose Place, Paradise Beach, CBS Movies of the Week, as well as major studio theatrical releases. In addition, Todd has been the featured vocalist in numerous national advertising campaigns for McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Pepsi, Tecate Beer and many others. Taylor also appeared as the "on camera" talent in many of the same commercials along with campaigns for Abercrombie & Fitch, Hyundai, Nordstrom just to name a few.Todd now calls Nashville, Tennessee “home” and thrives on its vibrant and diverse music scene. His primary focus is writing and producing while he is a staff songwriter at Cherry Lane Music. Nashville insiders often refer to Taylor as one of Nashville’s finest vocalists and continue to seek him out for studio session work.Todd has partnered with Grammy award winning producer, Brent Maher as well as Nashville producer, Jeremy Stover in one of Nashville’s “boutique” studios; the Blue Room / Padded Room LLC.
