The Sedan Vault
THE DALLAS EXPLOSION
The Dallas Explosion started in June 2000 and is composed of a talented power trio with jazz scholarship backgrounds.
The Dallas Explosion is the project of Geoffrey "Dallas" Hautvas,
who gets help from his precious friends Morris Raymond,
his organ and backing vocal and Colin Debruine, drums and lead vocal.
A good column in RifRaf and the Marktrock Podium 2001 Price were the real kick-off.
In the mean time they have played some great shows in Belgium:
Dour Festival, Les Nuits Botanique, Marktrock, Gentse Feesten, etc.
They have played with first-class artists like Travis, The Killers, Eagle-Eye-Cherry and Bush.
They define their music as (with the great help of several journalists):
- Dirty classic rock
- Retro influences with a 21st century sound
- Soul / rhythm and blues influenced rock music
Their 'first born' Girlfriends&Excess is finally being released.
Podcast will soon be online!!

WAXDOLLS
WaxDolls is an electropunk band from Ghent, Belgium.
WaxDolls shows that electronic music doesn’t have to be dull at all to watch.
As for playing live, you would be amazed what two guys and some toys can do on a stage.
WaxDolls blends the energy of a live band with danceable electronic music.
WaxDolls has lined up with Tomas Andersson, Justin Robertson, Joost Van Bellen,
Yuksek, Les Petits Pilous, Crystal Castles, Sickboy, Velvet Underwear,…
In March WaxDolls played the aftershow of Digitalism at Ancienne Belgique.
This weekend they will rock the Vooruit on StuBru.Uit (friday 28/03) &
the Maison de La Culture (Namur) @ Chemical Party (saturday 29/03).
THE SEDAN VAULT
In 2006 ‘Mardi Gras of the Sisypha’ was released, the debut of our
promising Belgian talent, The Sedan Vault. Their album ended in several prominent
top ten- lists and has been nominated for a Zamu Award (best song 2006).
Last year, the band even got the chance to perform on different important
Belgian stages such as Pukkelpop, Dour, Ancienne Belgique, Vooruit etc.
And last week, on top of the bill, they played in the Mars Volta’s aftershow.
In September 2008 the Indierock – postcore - progrock band will release
their follow-up. We look forward to it with great excitement.
In the mean time you can already check out the preview of the video
‘Read Demonologies’.
