I am Lee E. Bains, III, of the Bessemer, Alabama Bains. I live, where I was born, in Birmingham, Alabama. I am the front man and songwriter of Arkadelphia , the bass player for Duquette Johnston's Rebel Kings and the third guitar player in the Dexateens .
This page is a sounding board for songs that are either in the oven for my band Arkadelphia or just tunes I'm messing around with at the moment. Maybe one day, I'll get the gumption to finesse the latter set into a record. All of these songs are lovingly, and lackadaisically, recorded in my bedroom (or, occasionally, porch) on a TASCAM Portastudio 414 4-track cassette deck with tape noise, coughs, missed notes and all.
