About Me

"A construct composed of opposing forces, JUN is a dialectic of two individuals addicted to progression. Randy Slavin (drums) and Lyle Kamesaki (guitar/vocals) cradle this conflict, knowing that resolution between them will produce a destination unbeknownst to either. Every record they produce, every show they perform is a snapshot as to how that conversation ended that specific day. The songs they sing are simply an outcome of a process, a proactive cry for communication filled with ego, insecurity, and an overwhelming sense of destiny. Be it a pop or rock song, a self indulgent ballad, JUN is for an audience that is drugged by the temporary nature of themselves and the band they are listening to."
