Howard Ng Su Chee is an oboist currently studying on full scholarship as a student at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, Singapore.Howard has performed with various ensembles in his native Malaysia. He is one of the pioneering members of the Malaysian Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. As an orchestral musician he has also performed with orchestras such as the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra and Singapore Symphony Orchestra, working alongside the likes of Okko Kamu, Leon Fleisher, Kevin Field, Julian Reynolds, Kiri te Kanawa, the Vienna Boys Choir, Thomas Hecht and Albert Tiu amongst others.Howard is currently a student of Rachel Walker, principal oboist of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. Prior to Singapore, he was a full time student in the University College of Sedaya, Kuala Lumpur, studying under Joost Flach and Yong How Keen. Howard has performed in masterclasses under Hansjorg Schellenberger, John Anderson, Wang Liang and Elaine Douvas.
