About Me

Hello- My name is Anna and this is the page for my humble little business, Ana's Ikimaru! My interest in creating this business got started by my love/obsession with the amazing kimono I have seen come from Japan! I am twenty-five years old and have a background in multiple languages, performing arts, costuming, and kimono collecting. My partner RJProductions has a degree in Commercial Art and is a wonderful graphics artist. He has really embraced kimono culture and been an amazing partner that forces me to think outside the box. Together, we are huge fans of supporting our own economy, and the economy of countries that support healthy and ethical business practices. For more information, keep on reading!

I'd like to meet:

I (Anna) have a Geisha's hikizuri (or geisha's kimono) from the 1920s. I would love to meet the geisha who wore it and ask her what life was like back then, and why she commissioned that kimono. Check out my gallery for pics of the kimono!
