A tale of Goo...
Founded in London town in November 02 by the Goomusic boys, Ben and Mario, we book musical bands (broadly speaking, talent not wholely necessary) from near and far to play the red brickness that is the fabulous Buffalo Bar. A mess of Amps, drumkits, broken strings, dirty rock sweat and apologies every Wednesday. Hosted by chic flame haired Brazilian indie kid DJs with nothing better to do then spin horrible brain fudding tunes. Many thanks at this point to bar owners Michael and Stacey for the years of tolerance. (two of the finest rock and roll advicators in the city)
After 3 years of 4 bands a week the mighty Subways walked into the building (aged 15 at the time/ cheeky scamps) and uphoria ensued, so Goomusic stepped up to manage the troublesome trio and we ventured forth toward rock and roll stardom. Two years on Goomusic travels far and wide to spread the sounds of The Subways. Debut album 'Young for Eternity' is currently jumping off the shelves at your nearest CD outlet, so be sure to go get a copy and play it loud enough to shake the walls and rattle the windows.
The Subways are constantly touring so check their website or myspace page to see when they are playing near you.
