I am here for Friends

About Me

I edited my profile at MsPremade.com . check out these Myspace Layouts!

I have lived in Austin for over 4 years now and I know that this was were I was meant to be. I truly believe I live in the best city out there. I can see live music any night of the week. The weather is fabulous 10 months out the year and maybe one of these days I will get back out on a wakeboard to prove it. I also have the best friends that anyone could ask for. I have known my best friend for 16 years. We have been through a lot, but we are stronger than ever. The friends that I have made since I have been in Texas prove that there are still good friends to be made later in life. I also have to mention the family. Since my nephew came along I have a new appreciation for the little guys in life! I also could not leave out Lily. She makes me laugh all the time. What can I say? I love life and I am having a blast.

My Interests

I love to listen to music, especially live! A good movie or book and a glass of wine are a favorite as well. I also love to entertain and have friends over for dinner. Good friends are what it's all about.

I'd like to meet:

Friends old and new.

Music:

Top five: Blue October, Bob Schneider, Tori Amos, Wideawake, and possibly the Dixie Chicks after seeing them in concert. I am very happy if I can find at least one new band a month to add to my list of bands.

Movies:

There are so many to choose from. A few would be Walk the Line, The Notebook, Love Actually, Almost Famous, Family Man, Garden State, Rent, The Holiday, and Shawshank Redemption.

Television:

Grey's Anatomy and now Lost are my current addictions. I certainly could not leave out Gilmore Girls or reruns of Sex In the City, Six Feet Under, Felicity, and Dawson's Creek. A cheesey WB girl, I know.

Books:

That is another long one. I love all Nicholas Sparks and Nicholas Evans books. Also She's Come Undone, A Million Little Pieces, My Friend Leonard and most girly British authors. If you don't laugh at the Shopaholic books, then you need a sense of humor.
