Bob Thomson

Bob Thomson (Me, I) is/are a bass player from Costa Mesa, California. I have enjoyed playing Electronic Bass Guitar in/with many fine rock groups, namely : Big Drill Car, Smile, The John Doe Thing, Scott Weiland's solo projects, and Matt Costa to name a few. Recently I've been occupying the bass chair in Brad Davis' (Fu Man Chu) solo project, otherwise known as Davis.Even more recently I have been playing bass in the re-formed M.I.A. with long time pal Nick Adams, and even more recently than that - I have been playing with my old mates Big Drill Car for several re-union dates this Summer.Other than music, I do art things. Mike And The Bike is a children's book I illustrated, my good pal Michael Ward (of Tiny Buddy fame) wrote the story. We are currently working on the follow up to that, and it will be epic....in a children's book kind of way.
