Her music is improvisatory in nature, and frequently moves towards the outer limits of musical genres, being influenced by rock, electronic, and contemporary instrumental compositions. ----> Liz has collaborated with an assortment of individuals, including songwriters, rock bands, electronic musicians, improvisers, and composers. ----> She has composed concert music for The Esterhazy String Quartet, The Opabinia Quartet, and has created electronic and electro-acoustic fixed media works as well. ----> Liz received her Bachelor’s Degree in String Performance and Film Music from the Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA), and her Master’s Degree in Music Composition from Mills College (Oakland, CA) ----> Liz has studied viola performance with THE KRONOS QUARTET'S Hank Dutt, and music composition with FRED FRITH. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| ||
