About Me

I'm a guitarist and songwriter from Toledo OH. I've been fortunate enough to study at Musician's Institute under Scott Henderson and Keith Wyatt among others. In Toledo I played with blues harp virtuoso Johnny Reed for three years opening for national blues acts such as Larry McCray, Lady Sunshine and the Detroit Women of the Blues. I currently reside in Denver where I front a blues/rock trio and also serve as a sideman for some of the area's top-booked acts like Brian Hornbuckle, Mountain Jam and Ashley Buchart.

Influences: To paraphrase: Electric blues from the 50's & 60's. Southern R&B and soul. Classic/progressive rock & metal. Modal/cool jazz & fusion. Some classical and world music. Herzog and Leone films. Scores by Ennio Morricone, John Williams, Howard Shore. Etc. My Dad, Jeff Williams, Johnny Reed, and all of the other tremendous musicians I've been privileged enough to play with and learn from.
