Phillip Eubanks (The Electric Banshees)

the electric banshees is not (right now) a touring act. this (right now) has been a solo project for phillip eubanks of the shackrats. all the musicians on these recordings are busy with other bands. and most of the songs are little or not used for one reason or another (or no reason at all) material from the shackrats. these recordings are still a work in progress, being done on a fostex cassette 4 track then mastered on akai 1/4" reel to reel then edit on harman/kardon cd machine. the project is about 80% done i have not even started on the cover although i kind of know what it will look like. me and jt started recording this on christmas eve 2006 in my garage and various other parts were put onto tape either in the said garage or at other players houses or apt. so for right now the electric banshees is a recording band. jonathan taylor plays with BEN.BEN. , shuffle band, sir threadius mongus, .NEB.NEB posh-crow, indicator/activator and invera'an pipe band in st. louis, mo and tulsa, ok he played with the shackrats from 2000 to 2002. before that he has played with the barbeque blues band and grassmusic for the era. he currently lives in st. louis nate higgins plays with the shackrats and records with jive market, before that he played with the morning after and he lives in fayetteville, ar (downtown) clare starr plays with minkus finkus and everyone else in town all the time! has played with shindig shop, the dirt spirits, the owners nephew, and clare starr's insurgent stockpot just to name a very few. paul burnham played with (and founded) shindig shop, the dirt spirits, and played with the shackrats for a while. and me (phillip eubanks) have been in the shackrats since 1999 before that played with a group called tissue culture for about five years. born in russellville, ar and now live in fayetteville
