I used to dance (ballroom and jazz – not the variety that uses a pole) but life got in the way of that… I have thought about picking that up again.
I used to write poetry but then I married a songwriter who is far better than I so I stopped.
I used to be into tattoos and such but now that I am older that interest has turned into regret.
OK – I am depressing myself now… looks like I no longer pursue my interests.
I am still VERY interested in my husband and kids and that’s nothing to scoff at.
Hummmm -
On a spiritual level I would like to meet Jesus (before I am dead of course).
I would also like to jump to the future for a day and meet my kids when they are 30 to make sure I didn't screw them up too bad.
Don't really care about meeting celebrities or anything.
Dave Wilson, Duncan Sheik, Lisa Loeb, Sting, Sarah McLachlan, John Mayer, Cooper, Five for Fighting, Paul Simon, Beatles, Jewel’s first few albums, Ben Folds, Dave Matthews Band, The Sundays, Sixpence None the Richer, Avril Lavigne, Ashlee Simpson (say what you will… I like her stuff) and a few others. Not much into R&B, Hip Hop or Rap.
50 First Dates (and almost all of the other Adam Sandler movies), City of Angels, The Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction (when he stabs Uma with that huge needle I just crack up), One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, The Usual Suspects
Oddly, I do not like black and white movies so I am sure I haven’t seen some of the classics. Don’t know why B&W bugs me but even the beginning of the Wizard of Oz was tough for me to sit through when I was a kid.
I am a reality TV junkie… some would say that’s bad but I sure as heck can’t be alone due to the ratings. I loved Friends and was sad to see it go – Joey just isn’t doing it for me. Still like Charmed too.
OK - must admit that I don’t read much anymore. It’s not because I don’t like to but because I lose all sense of responsibility when I read a good book. I can’t stop until I have read the WHOLE thing. The result is a lot of sleepless nights, calling in sick to work so I can finish my book, forgetting to do simple things like brush my teeth and take care of my family. That said… I limit myself to magazines now since I can read an article quickly and stop… I love People Magazine. The most recent book I read is called Hedges.
My husband of course… every woman should marry her hero.
