The Seeds at Goodstock

In 2007, Sky Saxon - legendary frontman for The Seeds and psychedelic/garage rock originator - was invited to perform at Goodstock 2007, billed as three days of peace and music in the spirit of (drum roll) the original Woodstock. After assembling a rag-tag bunch of talented musicians living on the fringes of modern society, we all set out on a 3300 mile journey to perform at Goodstock, and did so with aplomb despite a lack of proper time to rehearse. Unfortunately, the band was not paid as promised - despite being the only band with a major draw to attend the event - and has now been surreptitiously omitted from media released by the promoters. However, the band created alchemic rock and roll magick that night and helped a great deal to make the event what it was, and this site is dedicated to filling a hole that no one else seems willing or able to fill. Ultimately, we would like to see the footage released of The Seeds' Friday night performance and get paid the paltry sum we were promised, as I'm sure the other couple dozen bands present and performing that weekend would like what they were promised as well. This site isn't about finger pointing, however; it's the celebration of a ideal fulfilled if only for a short time, and of a rock and roll story worth telling.
