Flying sparks, winds of change. The beginning of 2008 also marked the birth of kite parade!, a new collaborative project, featuring all-original compositions by Melody Ferris and Molly Maguire. The two singers met in 2002, and have been singing harmonies and sharing projects ever since. Their songs are inspired by loving and living, and are a perfect fusion of blues and folk, soft and strong, jazz and rock, pop and not, toe-tapping and mellow...with an ever-present focus on tight and luscious vocal harmonies. In the flesh, they offer a raw, emotional and uplifting presence – everything nice with a little bit of spice...
