BiOgRaPhY of Another PERFECT Getaway
Beginning in 2001 comes a band that has the knowledge and musical strength to keep a crowd amazed for hours. Another Perfect Getaway (AKA ELIEL!) sets a bomb underneath the modernized pop-punk scene and ignites it to a whole new world. With multiple amounts of member changes over the years, Eric Holada and Brian Johnson kept the dream of ’APG’ alive and positive with music coming from every angle of their family’s backgrounds. Dan Scofield would join the band in 2005 on the drums to record with the band for his first time in 2006 along side Tomasz Gorzynski on bass. An EP titled "Busted" was released in late 2006. The name Last in Line followed the band for most of the band's high school years, but after learning of multiple other 'Last in Line' bands/companies, the band began to call themselves after the initials of Last in Line spelled "ELIEL" (pronounced L-I-L, El-Eye-El). With the new name change, Tomasz would leave the band and Rich Rosales would fill in playing bass for ELIEL! until he was no longer able to play for the band during the early months of 08. The answer would come when ELIEL! geared up for the Fickiel Tour 08 with the band Fickle's Lot during the months of April and May when SeanyP! of the band Super Fri was asked to play bass in the band. After the amazing east coast tour and a free GORGEOUS day at Disney World, ELIEL! arrived back at home in Plainfield, Illinois. Ricky Sutton who used to play bass in the band when they were called It Depends came home from California to take over for SeanyP playing bass. Now with a solid member line-up, the name would be again changed to Another Perfect Getaway! With the release of 'Last in Line' on May 17th 2008; the last day of tour, APG plans to work on more new music during the fall and maybe tour again sometime early 2009. But until then, APG has one question for you....

Brian. He plays rhythm guitar and sings. You can’t miss him. He is often shorter then the mic, and during the show he is usually the one who says something inappropriate and gets yelled at for it after the show.
Eric. He plays lead guitar and sings. He's about 7 feet taller than Brian and makes fun of him for it because he's mean. But his tats are gorgeous.
Ricky Sutton is Sexy. Yeah...and he plays bass. He is the OG of the band ironically has been in every form and band name of this band since the beginning, but runs into band members when playing. Crazy fast kid... more crazy than fast watch out!!
Dan. He plays the drums. He's one of the most intense and high energy drummers known to man. If you don't think so, you haven't been to a show yet. And yes, he gets naked at shows.
Q: Why are you guys so damn hot?
A: Well, someone has to be so we decided to play the part...
Q: Where can I buy your music at?
A: Right at www.FUZZ.com Our new full-length is $8 on there and you can still purchase our old EP Busted for $3. Pretty cheap. 15 songs for 11 bucks.
Q: Do you guys have merchandise for sale?
A: Our new clothing line will be up soon. You can buy our old merch on zazzle.com but it's probably better to wait for the brand new APG merch. Going to have some real sick designs.. All of our tour shirts and old Last in Line shirts are gone! Sorry.
Q: You guys changed your name again damn it. Why?
A: Haha. Well, we love Eliel..don't get us wrong. But we're looking at getting more of a memorable name out there and Eliel just wasn't cutting it. Just not easy enough to pronounce and we had enough of it. Plus, when we thought of Another Perfect Getaway, it just clicked and it explains what we want our shows and crowd to consist of. The perfect getaway from everyone's daily hectic and insane lives to just come out and have a good time.
Q: How can I get the latest on all of your shows, events and cool stuff going on in Another Perfect Getaway?
A: Easy. Send your email to our inbox on this myspace. We'll add you to our Another Perfect Newsletter sent out about once a week. Anything and everything you need to know about our current events is packaged up in a cute little email and put into that newsletter and sent directly to our beautiful fans. Q: How do you guys write your songs?
A: Starts with an idea and our creative energies just open up and soon enough, it becomes a full song. Most of the time it's by accident and everyone just starts feeding off of a certain riff or drum beat. It's really a thing of wonder...haha.
Q: In what way can I help in making APG a success?
A: Come to any show! That's our number one. Concerts are NOT made up by what bands are playing; rather, it's WHO is in the crowd to hear the music and participate with the show, which makes the performance what it is. To some, it's just listening and to others, it's breaking down the dance floor, screaming and yelling with moans of admiration for the band on stage. (clothes coming off and being thrown is part of this. Participation at shows is required)
