How would you classify your riding style?
I’m all about smooth flow whether coming down a steep chute or putting together a line in the park, has to be smooth and seamless.
Where's your favorite place to ride?
Back home where it’s steep and deep, Thompson Pass, Valdez
How long have you been riding?
Just about 9 years now
Where was the first place you went snowboarding?
Thompson Pass
What inspires you to ride and try new tricks?
Snowboarding is non-restricting, all about freedom, and I want to push that as far as I can.
Why did you first try snowboarding?
I moved to Alaska and there really wasn’t much else to do in the winter time.
When's your birthday?
November 15th
What's your favorite food?
Cajun creations
Where's your favorite place to travel to?
Tahoe for sure.
What's your favorite CD/Band/Music?
I listen to just about everything, really depends on what I’m doing.
Where can we see you this season?
Ill be in Tahoe for the USASA Nationals the first week of April; Ill be shredding here in Anchorage everyday, some trips to Valdez thrown in, and maybe a trip up to Fairbanks.
Last but not least, why do you like to ride for Kubi?
Riding for Kubi is dope. The boards are money, I teach so my stuff naturally gets thrashed but the Kubi Commando holds up better than any other board I’ve ridden; it pops like no tomorrow, handles the chatter like a champ, and the base is super fast, I’ll go like two weeks between waxes on this guy. The company itself kills it, my input is taken into consideration, there’s awesome communication from the top to myself, and they’re there when I need something. Couldn’t ask for more.

Where's your favorite place to ride?
~Breckenridge, CO but this year Copper has had an awesome park, and they got all of Brecks crew now so I think you'll be seeing me at Copper Mountain, CO a lot more often.
How long have you been riding?
~6 years- I am riding year round right now, last summer I was in Australia and New Zealand and this summer I am looking at either going to Argentina or Mt. Hood, Oregon.
What inspires you to ride and try new tricks?
~My passion and determination for snowboarding, plus I am way over competitive and a perfectionist so it makes me strive to be the best that I can be.
Why did you first try snowboarding?
~Because I moved from San Diego to Northern California, and was super bummed I couldn't surf anymore, so my friends in NorCal (Tahoe) got me riding on snow.
When's your birthday?
~May 5th!!!
What's your favorite food?
~Good California Mexican!!! Out here in Colorado the Mexican food sucks, I mean come on... they put white rice in burritos! So in Colorado I would have to say Italian.
Where's your favorite place to travel to?
~ New Zealand... Snow Park was so so so much fun!
The people were great, the country was beautiful, I had an overall awesome time the three months I lived there.
What's your favorite Band/Music?
~ I currently really like Stutterfly, Slipknot, but really any type of punk/metal/deathmetal/rock -that pumps me up to ride.
And last but not least, so all our young hopefuls can read, Why do you like to ride for Kubi?
~I like riding for Kubi for many reasons.
1. The pink Kubi Commando is the sickest board I've seen.
I like how it is original, and really fits my style.
2. The boards are all hand made so they are of the best quality, I have never had a problem with any of my boards and I have never had one break or delaminate like other snowboards I have ridden.
3. Kubi is really involved in a lot of things (like Vans Warped Tour, Battle of the Bands, etc) so it’s fun to be a part of all of it and the rapidly growing company.
4. They treat their riders VERY well.
As a rider you are actually a name not a number like when you ride for other big companies. If I need something they are always quick to help me out, and very accessible - unlike some other reps and team managers I have worked with.
