Well I beatbox and mess with electronics. I'm a member of Reptiles/// and affiliated with the Invisible Spies , especially Kid Acne as part of his live set.
I love real lo-fi, full of spirit music, but can go for the super produced sonic texture map. Anyways, here's the bio i dug out...
Chase Rockwell is something of an anomaly – he takes his cue from the Fat boys and Doug E. Fresh, and then mutates it!
Chase was not able to do the fancy “ click “ rolls and was not interested in the generic beat boxing sounds or routines even as far back as 1985 .He instead chose to go the route of the scratch DJ’S. Being a DJ himself, he thought it would be a direction he could choose, utilising the styles and sounds within the parameters of beat boxing. So much so, he is regarded as the pioneer of vocal scratching circa 1986-7 scratching out the letters of his name at one of his first shows!
From here his tight snare, heavy bass and off kilter beats have had crowds here and abroad, in awe of how he makes those sounds.
Chase walks a path not common with the roots of his art, choosing to collaborate with singer-song writers and guitar driven artists .His style is constantly evolving out the box, where he describes it now as ‘a greedy sound’ or ‘the broken machine’… Chase Rockwell is a cat that has to be seen and heard at least once by everyone!!!!

I'll be putting up as much audio of stuff i've been involved with or done solo. Most lo-quality, but you'll get the idea!================================================
A small note:
The BLO OUT SESSIONS: (16, one or two minute workouts)were done in my lounge with the central heating cranked up, on an old laptop using Creative's EAX, Shure SM58 and Windows Sound Recorder! Wanted to do something cheap, quick and cheerful! So it was done all in real-time and no further editing once recorded!

Oh and nothing is finished i don't think. It's a good thing there's no quality control here, or i'd be out!
