movies that are originally books are usually the best. raw, nasty stand up like eddie murphy, richard pryor or chris rock. dave attell, lewis black george carlin and that kind of stand up is also great. independent films and any film that is simple and real. not simple minded, but simple. i also love the life aquatic, lost in translation, garden state, igby goes down, i heart huckabees is fantastic, both house of 1000 corpses and the devils rejects, waking life, trainspotting, lord of the rings, harry potter, the shining, fight club, snatch, fear and loathing, beetlejuice, ninja scrolls, princess mononoke, spirited away, eternal sunshine, almost any documentary, office space, magnolia, clockwork orange, crash, me you and everyone we know, broken flowers, and so many more. people, everyone should definately watch the proposition. it is visually stunning. and you know what, i even like gummo in a very sick and twisted way. so there. what can i say, i love good movies.
