[email protected] Arthur is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who was raised in the country on the outskirts of a small town called New Germany(pop. 352). After being forced to learn the piano he began self-teaching himself the drums at the age of 9 by playing along to music by the Troggs, Guess Who, the Kinks, the Beatles, Yes and others. He started playing electric guitar in the 7th grade with some friends in a punk band called Jerry Built Jon and by the age of 15 his taste had shifted towards metal as he started drumming/writing with Nathaniel Kling and Tim Gustafson in the band Black Across Woodline. During his first semester of college Jon Arthur discovered his love for songwriting and using his own inspirations to make softer,cleaner sounds combined with interesting melodies and chord progressions.
