THROTTLE is... A band of seasoned, energetic musicians, all of whom have many years experience on countless stages and countless shows.
We are truly "at home" while on stage performing. There are no gimmicks, no smoke and mirrors. It is all 100% pure adrenaline driven rock-n-roll delivered with the fire, passion and desire we all possess deep in our hearts.
To us, each and every show is like being a kid on Christmas morning who can't wait to open his presents, counting down the days, hours and even the minutes until it's time for us to play again.
We put all of our influences into our songwriting. We don't want to sound like someone else so we don't try to be like anyone else.
The THROTTLE sound can be described many different ways. We have a strong southern influence but also have a hard rock, heavy metal even country and blues influence and they all somehow seem to come out to produce the "Throttle Sound"! We've been called "Southern Metal" but it is really hard to catagorize or put a name on our sound other than ROCKIN!
We take this thing seriously - even though it is our escape from reality. We have a hell of a good time on stage. We may tell a joke or two and get the crowd in a good loose party mood.
That's what we are all about - connecting with the people, feeding off of the crowd and they know we are having a good time, it's like one big party! When they are having fun and we are having fun and the music is rockin, we just can't get enough of nights like that.
We thank you for checking us out and we hope you like it. Pass the word, tell a friend and when we are in your area come out to the show for the "Throttle experience".
We are just four guys who sincerely enjoy doing what we love the most... TAKING PRIDE IN ROCKIN' THAT ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Frankie B.
While strolling through the unknown metropolis of Applesatchel, Tennessippi, the other 3 misfit morons of Throttle happened upon a wannabe named Frankie B. sitting atop an oversized toadstool at the corner of 2 dead end streets playing what some might describe as a tune but more like an amplified irregular heartbeat, on an upsidedown rusty minnow bucket using 2 footlong hotdogs wrapped in duct tape as drumsticks, with half an unlit cigarette dangling from his mouth, wearing dark sunglasses pretending to be blind with a sign that read " will play for fun."Rob,Chris and Dave looked at each other and said," This guy's good!"When asked if he'd to jam with them Frank said, "I know nothing about making jelly but always wanted to try rockin' out with my tongue out." A jam session ensued and soon after, Frankie was a bandmember. Consumed with excitment, he crapped his pants while everyone danced a celebratory jig. "B" has since had to switch to wooden drum sticks as it is believed that one of his bandmates ate his duct taped foot long franks. Nobody has fessed up to it but all suspicion leans towards Rob and Chris because of their fondness for sticky meat.

Chris "Hink" Hinkle
Chris started playing guitar in 1983. Learning by ear. Chris quickly started up some bands which won high school talent shows and by 1986 was playing underage in bars making money as a gigging muscian. Soon all that mattered was writing music and playing live on stage leaving behind a promising career in BMX. ( Chris won over 300 1st 2nd and 3rd place trophies.) Career highlights include several guitar competions along the way. Making the finals in each. In 1999 he was 1 of 20 finalists in the Jimi Hendrix National Electric Guitar Competition sponsored by MCA Records and The Hendrix Family Foundation. Chris has played in bands that have opened for big name artists such as, Drivin'and Cryin', Molly Hatchet, The Kentucky Headhunters, Blackfoot, Blue Oyster Cult, Slaughter and Neil Zaza to name a few. Chris played lead for Black Oak Arkansas. In his spare time Chris likes to hang with friends, play with Tator (his dog), ride bikes ( dirt and street), fish, enjoy NASCAR, collecting Dale Earnhart and Evil Knievel memorbilia and throwin' back a few blacktooth grins for brother Dime! " Getcha' Pull" !!!!!!!!

David "Beefy D." Gregory
David began playing guitar at age 13 and switched to bass at a ripe age of 25 simply beacuse guitarist were a dime a dozen. Tired of just jammin with friends he hooked up with his 1st true band in 1999. He spent the summer of 2003 touring with Black Oak Arkansas " HELL YEAH" Hope to see you rockin' S.O.B.'s soon. " Getcha Pull"!!!!

"Rockin'" Rob Fuller
Born in Memphis, TN. I knew at a young age that I wanted to play music. My first experience at singing in a band was in the mid 80's for Sabrah. It wasn't until I saw a childhood friend Chris Hinkle, at a dirt track race my first opportunity at being in an original project happened. We got together with David Coupwood and Jimmy Rainy to form Ruckus in April of '98 and man did we pay some dues! A hundred or so shows later I talked with a drummer Frank Bugos, about forming a band with Chris and me and also invited bassist David Gregory to join. Throttle was born. The rest is still being written.
