This young rapper not only defines, but is the "Evolution Of Hip-Hop." Born in India...came to the U.S. at the age of 6. He wasn't able to get into the best school and get a decient education like most. He didn't exactly live in the best neighborhood either. Being rasied two thirds of his life in Queens, NY; this young artist has learned that if you want something, you have to make life altering sacrifices to reap the benefits. All his life he has seen his family struggle and come close to fall apart and even losing some of his loved ones. Although tragedy has struck RD at such a young age, he moves on for the betterment of his family & self; never forgetting his hardships and where he came from.
Being discriminated against up to his early teens for the simple fact that he is Indian, RD has flipped the script and made the best of the situation. With an interest in poetry and the help of music classes in Junior High School, RD gained interest in creating music. Remixing some of the hottest tracks out, led to producing beats which later led to writing lyrics with some of the most "RDIKULUS" metaphores.
Being involved in situations involving girls, beef, money, and drugs...RD decides to express his thoughts through music. With the help of some of the best local artist such as Problem Child, Potenchu, and Will from T.O. (Tuffest Out), Jay Holla and K Dot (CTC- Cut The Check), Mas-K and Stardum (Ammo Rydaz), RD has proven that he is one of the best young rappers out.
In 2005, RD decided to work with a local DJ and start a record label called 5 Star Records. After puttng in months of work and creating material for the debut album, RD left the label because the Co-CEO decided to cheat the label.
Working with top artists on the west coast such as Bohemia and his label...Outfit Records (Universal), RD's name is now internationally known. RD's hit, "2 Of The Best (D.E.S.I)" featuring Bohemia, is on Bohemia's 2006 international release "Pesa Nasha Pyar." Finally the young artist's name is world wide. Bohemia has failed to work with RD again because of the pressure from fans to do another song with RD. Can it be that he can't make a hit without RD? I don't know. You're just going to have to find that out for yourselves.
As for Production we all know rappers aren't granted access to brand new beats. So RD toughed it out like any other underground artist producing their own instrumentals. But fortunatley over the years, RD had the oppurtunity to work with producers such as Mixman Shawn & Sha One (The Diamond Lane [Universal]) and Unleash (Marvel'Us Records).
Come 2007, RD would eventually team up with his best friend DAME (President of Marvel'Us Records), and childhood friend C.E.O b.k.a Rich Prince (C.E.O of Marvel'Us Records) and started a new record label called Marvel'Us Records. RD is currnetly working on tracks with new underground artist like G.OD & Stewie Lox of former R&B group "Sex". "We so marvelous, ya so marvel us!!," RD says, making that the slogan for the record label. Things are finally starting to look bright for this young rapper and Marvel'Us Records!
