About Me

Robert Skyler Payne: actor-writer, comedian, professional hugger.Watching the Simpsons the other day I realized that Homer and myself were born at the same weight: 9 lbs. 6 oz. Go figure! I'm striving to be in a little better adult shape than him though and I should keep most of my hair. I will, however, know that I have "made it" when I star in a feature length comedy wearing a fat suit. Since they are no longer making new shows of Blind Date, I am unable to achieve my life goal of being the only Oscar winner featured in their Hall of Shame, so I guess I'll just have to strive to be the only Oscar winner to also win the weekly judging of Pants Off Dance Off.Your results:

My Interests

Jesus' sweet grace and the adventures He gives me, country drives, starlit nights, muscle and classic cars, swing and salsa dancing, ultimate frisbee, basketball, hiking, skiing.

I'd like to meet:

I would say the Mover, the Shaker, the Sin Taker, but I talk to Him everyday! I'm up for meeting anyone that enjoys life. I'll always meet someone who also enjoys words with the "ts" sound, such as "Tse Tse Fly" or "Tsotsi". I'd like to meet any girl that wants me for more than just my body. Does anyone play Mage Knight, Zombies!!! or Race Day?

Music:

I literally listen to a little of everything. Normally when people say that, they follow it with "except rap, country, etc.", but not me. I listen to rock to rap to country to polka to bluegrass to the Numa Numa song. I, however, don't really know the name of who does what. One of my favorite albums is CIRCLE SLIDE by the Choir. Check it out!

Movies:

Raising Arizona, Forrest Gump, Empire Strikes Back, Dead Man Walking, Raiders of the Lost Ark, It's a Wonderful Life, The Princess Bride, Planes-Trains-and Automobiles, Back to the Future, Bio-Dome (OK, not Bio-Dome).

Television:

The Simpsons, Malcom in the Middle, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, The Soup, Justice League Unlimited, SpongeBob Squarepants, California's Gold, My Name is Earl, The Office, Blind Date (yes, dangit, Blind Date. Please hear me clearly: Blind Date, NOT Elimidate!)

Books:

The Bible, Rich Dad Poor Dad, Harold and the Purple Crayon, I just finished reading In Cold Blood by Truman Capote which was wonderful!

Heroes:

Any one that can take a stand for what is right.
